My 4c hair Journey So far

Phew! its been a long 3 years and 3 months (since my BC(Big Chop)) of learning, experiments, product trials and errors/success.
Although I am not much of a product junkie, my ntutu has had its fair share of product baptism especially DIY recipes by yours truly.
I can't say what length it is now *side eye* but,  when stretched, it gets to the base of my neck.

I really love my hair, can't explain how much. Like really really really love it. My hair is dark, very thick and coily. So you can imagine the shrinkage girl! about 80% after any wash.  I take great pride in it. So keeping it healthy is priority.

I remember when i first started 2 years ago, it was faced with a lot of challenge.But thank God for the Internet. Shout out to all the Natural hair bloggers, enthusiasts and all the natural sisters/brothers willing to encourage and share hair tips/products. Y'all are the real MVP!

I will like to share a few basic tips;
  1. Drink lots of water. Your hair will love you for it.
  2. If you have a T.W.A, please don't be too worried and discouraged about the length of your hair. It will grow. Just keep doing the right things to it. Patience is key.
  3. Eat right. Lots of organic veggies and fruits. Remember our hair and skin is a reflection of what we eat.
  4. Moisturize! Moisturize!! Moisturize!!!. Water is your best friend.
  5. I know you like to show off your beautiful hair, we all do . But darling, that tugging and pulling every morning and night when styling is no good to your hair. Put it in a protective style once in a while.
Rock your Fro, don't let nobody tell you nothing!

xoxo
